Simple things give pure joy
My dad tells me I travel too much. He is not wrong, but I also love it too much.
It’s the people.
It’s the experiences.
It’s definitely the view.
It’s the energy of a new place.
I could say it was the helicopter ride in Nice, or the tender rides back to our yacht in Portofino or the rickshaw ride in Benaras. But I think that what keeps me going back for more is the staying up late, singing all night on the beach at Maui, or my conversation with the Kate Winslet look-alike in Cala di Volpe, Sardinia.
It’s the simple things that give me pure joy. And that’s what I’m here to talk about.
I’ve been to over 50 countries and have endless happy stories to share, not counting being robbed in London, or an incredibly dull Christmas in Los Angeles.
Through it all, I’ve come out of it with a better perspective, a clearer picture of people, how we are all the same, no matter where we come from or what we do. The thrill of a new place and the promise of a new adventure always keeps me planning for more. I’d love to take you along on these journeys with me.
Here we go!
